Europe Tour Leader Manager
We are looking for someone who is passionate about travel to join our team in Europe. We are looking for someone who can use their experience in running group tours and staff management to look after their destination country to ensure our customers have the most epic life-changing experiences EVER. We are looking for someone who is confident in their ability to maintain a large team of awesome Travel Ninjas and ensure all aspects of the tour run smoothly.
PLEASE NOTE: The start date for this role is ASAP and it is a fully remote postion.
What you’ll do as the European Tour Leader Manager:
You’ll be the link that holds and gets involved a little into all different departments, an incredible working place for the tour leaders, a great business partner to all our suppliers and all this transforms into the delivery of amazing experiences for our travellers.
The requirements for the role are:
- Experience in administration roles in the travel industry.
- EU passport holder
- At least 1-2 years experience in leading a team. Confidence in speaking to people from all over the world.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- To be forward thinking and always looking for ways to improve the department.
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and often crazy working environment.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to make decisions when necessary.
- International travel experience and strong geography knowledge is key. Especially in our key destinations.
- Confident in presenting & training all types of people
- An excellent networker with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confident, organized and comfortable with using Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Drive
- Flexible to adjust to changing circumstances
- Willing to travel and spend time on the road
- Willing to potentially build a team around you
- A team player who is happy to assist in other areas of the business when required
- Being our next Europe tour leader Manager, you’ll focus on:
- Living and breathing the TruTravels fun family vibe and ethos
- Hiring the Travel Ninja team across Europe.
- Host regular training sessions all with your team and ensure they smash their personal and company targets.
- Managing the Travel Ninja’s day to day tasks (scheduling, payroll, performance, bonuses, etc)
- Developing Giving Back projects that we can make part of our tours.
- Research and Develop new products to launch in the future.
- Use and management of regional budgets for trainings, staff events, giving back projects, product development trips, etc)
- Improving efficiencies within the department.
- Maintaining close relationships with all customers & suppliers, dealing with any issues calmly and effectively
- Thinking creatively and keeping up to date with market trends, analysing all feedback and looking at ways to improve the customers experience.
- Influencing & inspiring our growing team to help them improve and be the best they can be!
